If you''ve decided that you can cheat Google to rise your site in the results, it''s most probable that you''ve overestimated yourself or your the information that you have. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. And there are well established rules, most of which we''ll discuss in this article.
* In order to give specific examples I randomly chose to be with online shop for mobile phones.

2. Page Title / Title tag

<title>Online store for Mobile phones</title>
This tag is the first description of the website, which useres see in Google.
26+ golden rules and advices for SEO optimization

It has to be short, clear and to give information what the website offers. Title tag must contain the most important keywords for your branch.

3. Site description / Description tag

<meta name="description" content="Hello, we are leader in selling mobile phone online. We work we major brands like Nokia, Samsung, LG and others. We give long-standing guarantees and quality certificate."/>
26+ golden rules and advices for SEO optimization
After the Title tag, Description tag offers you more chance to describe yout website. This is your chance to attract users attention while browsing in Google. Again you should use your most important keywords.

4. Keywords

<meta name="keywords" content="phones, mobile phones, online store, online shop for phones, samsung, nokia"/>
Even though Google doesn''t pay big attention on this tag, there are a lot of other search engines that are. With this tag you help search engines to locate your website in the right place among the millions of other site. The keywords tag must contain the most important and some relevant to them words. Every person have individual approach of searching for information. Try to consider every one of them as much as possible. I reccomend Google AdWords Tool as an orientation for the most searched words in your branch.

5. Duplicate meta tags

Meta tags ("title", "description" and "keywords") must be different/unique for every single page on your website. This way we are not pleasing only Google, but we are increasing the chance to get more visits for those different kewyrods and phrases. You can use Google Webmaster Tools to check if your website has problems with duplicated meta tags.

6. URL Adresses

If your website is using urls of this kind: view=articleid=40%3F15-DR4e-%64d%id=23R%3A--Itemid=57lang = bg
then you must know the Google won''t like them. But not only Google offcourse. Online users prefer short and presentive adresses. Organize your URLs like this:
Short and clear, this adress show to the visitors where xactly in the website are they. Also keep in mind, that Google use the keywords in the adress as a ranking factor.

7. Content, Headings and H1, H2, H3 tags

<h1>"GSM City" is main distributor of GSM phones with brand like Nokia, Samsung и LG.</h1>
<h2>here you''ll find the best quality Nokia mobile phones.</h2>
I assume that every page of your website has content with subject-specific content. What will help for your SEO optimization and visitors is headings and sub-headings, which will orient Google and the users about the purpose of the current page.

Content is what makes your website significant for people and search engines. The more quality content - the better. If you sell mobile phones, collect and present as much quality information as you can. I think that from your own experience you know what buyers are looking for. Specific product parameters, its quality and other people experience with it. So if you have an online shop it''s good idea to add a review option from the users.

"Content is king". You can take good care of it with some additional improvements like: enhancement of the words (<strong>) and links.

8. Words enhancement / Strong tag

I''ll use this example text:
"Nokia 6300 has a nice design that appeals to every type of person. This phone will offer a strong metal rear side, wide display with 16 million colors, excellent "organizer" and very good sound."
The words that I emphasized (by the <strong> tag) will prompt Google to identify the most important words in the content. It''ll also focus on the user attention to the important aspects in the content.

9. Links

Search engines pay a lot of attention to the links in a website. It is known that the more quality links are pointing to your website, the more you climb in search results. You could buy or swap links from other sites with similar themes, but first you must create your own ones. If you have a website then you can get your first quality links. One of the most important factors in how much they''ll be useful is the anchor text. Theoretically we want our site to get on the first page in Google, when someone searches with keyword "GSM devices". If somewhere in your website have the word "car", which is a link to the home page, it''ll be completely meaningless. What will rise your website to higher positions is the word/phrase "GSM devices" which is a link to your site. Just in case I''ll clarify that "GSM devices" in this case is the link anchor text.
